CANNED LAUGHTER is a short film that tells the story of Deirdre Gossamer, a retired comedian who has knitted herself an audience in lieu of performing to a real one. 

​But when one of her home-made punters comes to life and destroys her career memorabilia, she’s forced to re-think her attachment to the ‘glory days’ and face the once unthinkable prospect of moving on...
